The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, has told its ministers to desist from holding the Lord's Supper otherwise known as Holy Communion Service online.
In a circular signed by the General Secretary of the church, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur, the church authority says serving Holy Communion online is contrary to the policies of the church in view of the delicate nature of the scared sacrament.
The church authority further stated that the major concern of Ministers at this time should be preaching the word and fervent prayers.
"Further to this instruction, I am also directed to warn all ministers in Christ Apostolic Church that no one should henceforth grant press interview on any matter that affects the church as such can only come from the head of the church only. It is our earnest prayer that this pandemic will come to an end in no distant time so that normal activities will resume in Jesus' name," Pastor Mapur stated.
