As the world battles with coronavirus pandemic which has claimed many lives, the President of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun, has said that though there is no approved drug for COVID-19 now, but there is no incurable disease before Jesus Christ.
Pastor Akinosun noted this while ministering on CACTV on the topic "Don’t be afraid, Jesus has power over COVID-19."
He said we know whom we believe and whom we serve and we know there is a Balm of Gilead, saying that no infection can withstand the potency of the Balm of Gilead, it cures every illness and ailment.
According to him; "you can access everything Jesus Christ has for His children through salvation of your soul. It doesn’t matter what you have done wrong, He still want you to come to Him. This is a period of sober reflection. He wants you to turn to Him by acknowledging your sins and be reconciled to him."
Pastor Akinosun, on behalf of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide commiserated with
everyone who has lost family members and friends to this epidemic ravaging the world at this time.
The President also prayed for quick recovery for everyone infected with this disease in Jesus name.
He added that;"we encourage you to be bold during this time of coronavirus ravaging the world. It is written concerning us in Psalm 91 that 'He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence."
"Pestilence in a time like this is COVID-19 that is raging havoc all over the world. We are covered under His wings. God is our refuge and buckler. This is an assurance that we are protected. We also need to follow basic instructions on personal hygiene in terms of washing of hands with alcohol based sanitizers or soap and water, social distancing and compliance to directive from state of residence. We need to keep looking unto Jesus the author of our faith and claiming confidently His promises of protection."
