The Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro has said the omniscient God has put the internet and technology in place ahead of this time to serve as a wing on which the Gospel would fly to every part of the world breaking all barriers to reach men in their closet and turn their hearts to God.
He said no situation can frustrate the purpose of God rather, He turns every situation around to fulfill His purpose.
According to him, the Gospel is too strong to bow to any situation under heaven even when it was directly and fiercely opposed by demonic institutions and agents of darkness in the days of our forefathers, it prospered and triumphed.
Pastor Gbuyiro stated this on Thursday June 25, 2020 at the Youth Fellowship Leaders' Meeting held on Zoom. About 35 youth leaders across the country were in attendance.
He said it is not this time when the gospel stands out and sounds loudest to be the only answer to human problems that it would now bend or bow.
Pastor Gbuyiro noted that "the Gospel proclamation is the Lord's standard that matches the noisy flood of the enemy at this time.Therefore, God's standard (the Gospel) which is our flag of victory must be lifted and waved to heaven in praise by adopting the best method or option available to hold our conferences this year."
"The global effect of the COVID 19 Pandemic which has put virtually everything on hold, coupled with the phenomenal lockdown by the government is no longer news to all of us. The Church is obviously badly affected by the hindrance it created than any other sector."
"We are also aware that the political sagacity in our nation apart from being windy, does not face realities. Government policies are unnecessarily delayed and too slow in execution, as a result, we can't predict their timely and favourable decisions on religious gatherings at the moment."
"However, our mandate to preach the gospel is not only a priority but also a matter of necessity as far as God is concerned that no excuse whatsoever would be reasonable and tenable enough to justify our failure to carry out this great assignment, not even COVID19 pandemic. Paul said, to Timothy, 'preach the word; be instant in season and out of season...' 2 Tim 4:2 (That means whether it is convenient or not)."
"More so, being the Isaachars of this generation, we should tap into God's available provisions and resources by the virtue of wisdom to discern the best ways to fulfill our ministries at this crucial time."
