The Assistant Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Simeon O. Oke has said anyone who wants to secure his or her destiny during and after COVID-19 must work on mindset, move with God and map-out plans with prayers.
Pastor Oke stated this while ministering on the topic "Securing Your Destiny in Post COVID-19 Era" at the Living Truth Telegram Webinar Session of CAC Youth Fellowship, Worldwide, held on the official Telegram of the fellowship on Saturday June 6, 2020.
He noted that COVID-19 is part of the world's tribulation but we must be rest assured that through Jesus Christ we have conquered it.
Pastor Oke, while commenting on 'mindset' said: "the scripture says in Proverbs 23:7 'as he thinketh in his heart so he is.' You must resolve for the best, you must think right and avoid distractions from world news, friends etc. You must set your mind on the things God has promised you knowing fully well that God never fails."
The Cleric urged everyone to move with God in line with Genesis 26:1-3 - there was famine in Gerar, in the days of Isaac, but he had a union /communion/move with God. He moved with God, verse 12 reads: Isaac sowed in the land where there was famine - he reaped hundred fold and God blessed him. Even in this pandemic, God must bless you. After the pandemic, the Lord must secure your ways and destiny."
While urging everyone to map-out plans and pray, Pastor Oke noted God's finished work both in heaven and Earth in Genesis 2:1. Another scripture says he makes everything beautiful in His time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Meaning, God works with time. Hence, you as God's children, must plan too to achieve and secure your destiny. Map-out your plans timely in weeks, months, seasons, years, (in short term goals and long term goals) then pray as you go. You will see your destiny coming to fulfilment and secured. Don't play instead of praying. Don't flirt instead of keeping yourself holy.Don't be stingy instead of giving."
