You were never called to compete with anyone, stay in your track, Cleric urges Christians

The Minister in Charge of Christ Apostolic Church, New Life Assembly, Ibadan, Pastor Taye Odesola had admonished all Christians never to compete with anyone in the race of life.


While taking his text from Hebrews 12:1 & 2, Pastor Odesola who stated this in his post on Facebook entitled "Run your own race stay in your Track" urged Christians never to run according to other people's pace.



"Life is a race of one. We were never called to compete with anyone in the race of life.The race set before you is a race for you alone. Therefore don't look at other runners or try to run like them."


"Stay in your track and keep running. Make no attempt to cross over to another runner's track. It's an invitation to disaster and everlasting regrets. Run according to your own pace and focus only on your own finish line."


"Never run according to other people's pace. A marathon race is never run like a sprint.
Always remember: It is not how fast you run but how well. It is not how far you are able to run but how well you are able to abide by the rules of the race.May you receive the grace to run well and finish well, in Jesus name. Amen."
