The authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide has formally inducted Pastor Elisha Oluseyi Oyedeji as the Districts Coordinating Council (DCC) Superintendent of CAC Somolu DCC, Lagos.
The induction service which took place at the DCC headquarters in Lagos on Sunday 18th October 2020 was coordinated by Akinyele Regional Superintendent, Pastor M.O Yusuff.
In his speech, Pastor Oyedeji who appreciated the authority of the church, all departments and members of CAC Somolu DCC noted that the induction service has been postponed three times but give God the glory for making the day finally come to reality.
Pastor Oyedeji also call on all worshipers under Somolu DCC to cooperate and work together with him so as to uplift the work of God and make the DCC greater than it was.
He further stated his agenda for the DCC as: "Church planting and Outreaches," "Scheduled developmental programmes," " Raising heavenly minded members," "Rekindle fire of prayer hours across the DCC," and "Fulfilling all obligation to Region and CAC worldwide".
The Akinyele Regional Superintendent, Pastor M.O Yussuf who preached on "Preparation for a Great Reward" noted that one day Jesus will ask every believer to come home where great reward will be given.
He added that everybody will die one day and only those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior will go to heaven, saying when everyone die, nobody will take anything out of this world and all that is acquired in this world is vanity.
Pastor Yusuff who highly encouraged members of the DCC to work for God with everything they have also charged them to be steadfast without wavering.
He reiterated that everyone will give account of what he or she do here on Earth, adding that any work done in and for the Lord wholeheartedly has reward.
The Cleric said he was happy with the new DCC Superintendent's agenda of making the church better and church planting.
He later charged the DCC to plant church yearly, revealing that even when he retires as a pastor he will still continue in the work of God to move the kingdom forward so as to have more reward in heaven.
