Christ Apostolic Church, Jesus is the Way of Salvation Assembly, Goodness District headquarters, Sanngo Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Ojoo, Ibadan, hosted the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun to a groundbreaking celebration of his 75th birthday on Sunday 1st November, 2020.
The programme which had in attendance the DCC Superintendent of Sanngo DCC, Pastor J.B. Agunbiade was mainly organised to celebrate the living legend who undoubtedly deserves to be celebrated.
Apart from cutting of two beautiful cakes, Pastor Akinosun was also given an award which is just to appreciate his sacrificial and dedicated service to CAC Worldwide.
Ministering at the porgamme, Pastor Akinosun said salvation is a great mercy sent by God to man and it was given freely to anyone who desired it.
He further said that man never deserved salvation but God in His infinite mercy gave it to us freely.
He however said there were challenges or difficulties ahead for anyone who accepted salvation, noting that the journey of Christianity is not trouble-free.
According to him, God didn't save us in order to take us home (Heaven) immediately, but to arise for the salvation of others.
Pastor Akinosun while urging everyone to cleave to their salvation, said there are personal behaviours the devil uses to destroy one's testimony of salvation.
He also warned all Christians to desist from mob-action which is against God's will, adding that anyone who is heavenly conscious must be careful of mob-actions that are not Biblical.
The Cleric said this is because we are all going to give account of what we do in the flesh individually.
The District Superintendent of CAC Goodness District, Prophet J. Olu Popoola appreciated the President for honoring their invitation.
He noted that a lot of people doubted it when it was announced that the President would be visiting them.
While recounting his experience with Pastor Akinosun, Prophet Popoola further applauded the President for his life of simplicity, openness and gentleness.
The programme ended with a photo session with the President who also dedicated the English Assembly of the District Headquarters. The programme had in attendance the Curate Pastor of the church, Pastor Olagoke S. David and some Pastors in Goodness District.
