CAC Yaba DCC Superintendent, Pastor Oludare celebrates 50th birthday in grand style

It was a celebration of 50 years of walking with God at the 50th birthday ceremony of the DCC Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Yaba Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Lagos, Pastor Sunday Ebenezer Aduralere Oludare.

The colourful event, held at the headquarters of Yaba DCC on Sunday 1st November, 2020, had in attendance the Regional Superintendent of CAC Akinyele Region, Pastor Moses O. Yusuff, DCC Superintendent, Vineyard of Mercy, Pastor Anu Ojo, DCC Superintendent, Amuwo Odofin, Pastor Joe Jacobs, Music Director, CAC Worldwide, Pastor Tope Dada, CACYOF Akinyele Regional Coordinator, Pastor Bunmi Babatunde, and many others.

While ministering at the programme on the topic "A man on a Mission," the Minister in Charge of CAC Sure Foundation Chapel, Lagos, Pastor M. Olu Aina said a man on a mission is on earth for God's purpose of dominion and rulership and he or she is not here by mistake.

"Jesus said for this purpose I was born. Do you know why you are here or you are already carried away with the funfair of this temporary place? Who is he that is yet to find his purpose here? Don't live this house until you have found the reason for your existence. Those who compare themselves with themselves are not wise, says the Bible. Are you really doing what you have been called to do or you are only keeping company with people who have discovered their own path to go to where you are not sent. You are not here to compete but to complement the efforts of other men to fulfil GOD'S PURPOSE on the earth. You are distinct, unique and special, trying to be another person is to frustrate your destiny and truncate the plan of God in your life," he said.

Pastor Aina said the world is full of talented men and women without mission and purpose. 

He said you will only be remembered for your contributions and the value you created. 

He advised: "wake up now and start your journey to greatness by adding value to people. There is no small assignment, only be faithful."

One of the sessions of the programme which really thrilled the congregation was Testimonial which is for people to say what they know about the celebrant, Pastor SEA, as he's fondly called.

The session is a fulfilment of the Proverbs 22:1 which says "a good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold.”

An Elder at Yaba DCC Headquarters, Elder Omoniyi Komolafe said Pastor Oludare came to Yaba when the church needed reformation and God used him greatly.

He noted that Pastor Oludare is gentle to the core and uses his wisdom to resolve issues amicably.

Mr. David Olatunbosun, a younger brother to Pastor Oludare said they had been following his footsteps because they are proud of him.

He noted that he thought of negative thing he could say about Pastor Oludare but he couldn't figure out anything.

According to him, Pastor Oludare is a wonderful person. He however advised him to learn how to rest because we are all human beings.

Anjola Oludare, one of the children of the celebrant said: "my daddy is very smart. He is a disciplinarian and a prayerful man. He is very talented. I love his preaching. He is born to be a leader. He has been the Parent Teachers' Association (PTA) Chairman of my school since I was in primary 4 and he's still the chairman till now. He is a good leader and he's greater than his father and I have to be greater than him."

The wife of Pastor Oludare, Mrs. Dorcas Oluwabukola Temitope Oludare said she told God she wanted to marry a Pastor greater than his father and God gave her Pastor Oludare.

She said Pastor Oludare has been a good husband and a confidant, appreciating God she never missed him. 

Also speaking at the programme, is the Regional Superintendent of Akinyele Region Pastor Yusuff who thanked God for his life.

Pastor Yusuff prayed for Pastor Oludare and his family that the Lord should take good care of them.

 

In his appreciation, Pastor Oludare appreciated everyone for their presence, love and sacrifice towards the success of the programme.

He appreciated the Regional Superintendent of Akinyele Region, Pastor Yusuff, Pastor Joe Jacobs, Pastor Tope Dada, Pastor Anu Ojo and many others for their presence.

He also appreciated the Pastorate of CAC Yaba DCC Headquarters, the Board of Elders and the entire members.
