The Planter and Minister in Charge of Christ Apostolic Church, Church of Boanerges, Prophet Ade Ologbonyo has said he was once a truck pusher before God called him into the ministry.
Prophet Ologbonyo stated this at the Birthday Thanksgiving
and Book Launch Service organized for him by his spiritual children on Saturday
November 14, 2020 at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos. The two books which were launched are "Beware of Burnout and "Humility: The Uncommon Key to Greatness."
While recounting his experience in life, the Prophet explained that "I was very hard working from the beginning of my life because I don't like begging people. I believed those who beg God don't beg people. I once worked in a bakery for two years. I also worked in a company where they make soap in Osogbo which affected my body colour. I was not as dark as this, but the work I have done in the past made me black as this."
"When I wanted to go to higher institution, it was very difficult for me because there was no money, but God eventually did it. I never knew I could be where I am today. I have once walked from Alakuko to Oshodi in Lagos. Irrespective of the battle of life, God will still send someone to help you."
Commenting on his journey into the ministry, Prophet Ologbonyo said "I never wanted to do the work of God because my parents suffered being Ministers of God. An Angel of God appeared to me three times, it was the third time I agreed. I was on the sick bed, diagnosed with tuberculosis, but I was healed when I agreed to do the work of God. The Angel told me I was not called, but sent. God also used the song of Baba Ayewa , 'Amona Tete Mabo' to grant me strength. As Music Ministers, always let God give you songs. God later directed me to Ori Oke Ido Ajinare. He said I should spend one year there which I obeyed. When God gives you an assignment and gives you a location, He will give you your allocation."
"To the glory of God, I have planted about eight assemblies and God has used me to heal many people, which I never believed when I started. It is the will of God that took me to where I am today. It is not by prayer points. If you surrender your totality to God, there is nothing He can't do for you."
The service had in attendance a renowned Minister of God, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, parents of the celebrants, Prophet and Lady Evang. Ologbonyo and many others. The auditorium was electrified through inspirational music by Lanre Teriba (popularly known as Atorise) and Goke Bajowa. The Master of Ceremony was Gbenga Adeyinka.
