Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, on Tuesday December 9, 2020 held banquet programme for would-be Pastors and their wives.
The banquet which was held at Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State had in attendance the would-be Pastors and their wives.
The programme had different sessions which included song ministrations by the choir, award presentation, couples dance and many more. It was indeed an atmosphere of display of affection.
While ministering at the programme on the topic "A Man with a Vision", the Chairman, Logistics, 2020 Pastoral Training Programme, Pastor Gideon O. Oladokun, urged the would-be Pastors to be visionary leaders, noting that when David had a vision, he conquered Goliath and when he lost his vision, he couldn't conquer his lust.
He said when Samson had a vision, he won many battles, but when he lost his vision, he couldn't win the temptation over his affection for Delilah.
According to him, when Solomon had a vision, he was the wisest man in all the world, but when he lost his vision, he couldn't control his own evil passions for strange women.
Pastor Oladokun further said that when Ahab had a vision, he conquered great nations, but when Ahab lost his vision, he couldn't even conquer his own grief.
The Cleric said leaders who effectively communicate goals to their followers achieve far beyond those who don't.
