The Minister in Charge of Christ Apostolic Church, Living Sanctuary, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Pastor Remi Adeyemi has warned everyone not to go into year 2021 with "bitterness."
He noted that bitterness is an indication one has failed of God's grace, noting you don't know that you have it until it manifests.
Pastor Adeyemi who stated this recently while ministering during the Bible Study of the church said bitterness always has a root and you have to wrestle with it to conquer it.
According to him, bitterness only troubles the carrier and it is a devil everyone must avoid as much as possible.
He cited an example of a particular Elder in a particular church who was asked to pray during a service while praying used "sango" to curse people who hated him and this is due to bitterness he had for them.
While emphasising on the variants of bitterness, Pastor Adeyemi stated that some of the signs that you have bitterness in you are as follows,: "when you see someone and you're getting angry, you're not angry when you see the person, but if you have your way you won't greet him, when you decided you don't have anything to do with someone and when you can't go out of your way to protect the interest of someone even when the situation warrants it. "
Pastor Adeyemi also said there is no good reason for bitterness before God and it is something one should wish away, noting that it has to be uprooted.
The Cleric said bitterness is what has been hindering some people's breakthrough and spiritual growth.
