Christ Apostolic Church, Gwagwalada Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Abuja, on Saturday February 6, 2021 held her annual Refresher Course for Ministers and their Wives.
The theme of the programme which was held at the DCC headquarters is "God in the Administration of Man."
DCC Superintendent of Gwagwalada DCC, Pastor M. A. Akande who gave a heartwarming address, laid emphasis on the importance of seeking knowledge taking his text from Proverbs 24:5-7 and says wisdom increases strength.
Two lectures were delivered by the DCC Superintendent of Christ the King DCC Superintendent Pastor D. O. Oladipo who was the guest speaker.
While ministering on the topic "The Man God Uses in the Administration of His Church", and taking the text from 1 Samuel 13:14 and Ezekiel 33:20, Pastor Oladipo said God is looking for men who will speak accurately for Him, men who will bear the burden of ministry according to His pattern.
He further said God is looking for men who will meet the prerequisite qualification for the kind of man He uses, adding that until God finds a man who meets His requirements, He will not release the rain.
According to him, the man God uses is the one who by God’s grace has removed every hindrance from his life citing Isaiah 59:1-2.
"The man God uses is the man who places himself absolutely at God’s disposal. The man God uses is the man who learns how to prevail in prayer. The men who have been greatly used by God have all been mighty in prayer (John 18:1). The man God uses is the man who is a student of the word. God cannot use a man who doubts His word (Joshua 1:8, II Timothy 2:15, II Timothy 3:16).The man God uses is the man who has vital living message for a lost world. The man God uses is the man of faith, who expects results (Hebrews 11:6).The man God uses is a man who works in the anointing of the Holy Spirit (Act 1:8). The man God uses must be a man of courage (Joshua 1:6-7)," he stated.
Pastor Oladipo noted that a leader must have the heart to communicate his vision no matter how absurd it may sound to others.
