The planter of Christ Apostolic Church, Boanerges Assemblies, Prophet Ade Ologbonyo has said without personal encounter with Jesus Christ, no one can possess or have access to the power of the Holy Spirit.
He said many have been church members for years without personal encounter with Jesus, saying that God will not entrust His power into your hands until you repent.
The Prophet noted that many people have gifts without Jesus in their lives, adding that to have an encounter with Jesus, you must confess and forsake your sin, and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
Prophet Ologbonyo stated this on Wednesday February 24, 2021 while ministering on the topic "Danger of Powerlessness" at the ongoing "2021 Odo Owa Annual Revival."
According to him, the world is a place of power and anyone who wants to be successful or fulfilled must be powerful.
"In this world, the powerless people are more numerous than the powerful, and the powerful are the ones ruling over them. There is danger in powerlessness. You need the power of the Holy Spirit if you want to be successful or fulfilled destiny on earth. We are in a generation when some Christians are not ashamed to say 'they attacked me.' Truly, the enemy may try to attack, but the attack would never prevail over you," he said.
