It was a celebration of God's faithfulness and divine fulfillment at inauguration thanksgiving service organized by Christ Apostolic Church, Transfiguration Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) for the 12th General Superintendent of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi.
The service was also organized to celebrate Pastor Odejobi's 42 years in the ministry and elevation of CAC Transfiguration from Zone to DCC.
The programme which was held at Transfiguration DCC headquarters in Ajuwon, Ogun State had in attendance the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele, General Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur, Mission Director, Pastor Caxton S. Fasuyi, retired General Evangelist, Prophet Samuel K. Abiara, Retired Regional Superintendent of Akinyele Region, Pastor Moses O. Yusuf, Acting Regional Superintendent of Akinyele Region, Pastor S.A. Adedayo, Director of Publicity, Pastor Ade Alawode, Music Director, Pastor Tope Dada and many others.
Pastor Odejobi in his opening remarks was grateful to God and the immediate past President of the Church, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun, incumbent President, Pastor Oladele who he said made such a great sacrifice of attending the programme despite his busy schedules.
He noted that in his 42 years of dealing with people and delivering the message of the Gospel of Jesus in various places, he discovered lives of people grossly and paradoxically running contrary to the expectation of God.
The General Superintendent said in the course of his investigation, he realised that our Lord Jesus came to the world because of this problem of man being held bound in one place and positioned by Satan that is stronger and higher than he.
According to him, Jesus called and commissioned His immediate disciples and those following Him thereafter for the assignment of ensuring that the bound is set free.
"It was in the light of this that I led the Transfiguration family on evangelical mountain top experience under the theme which ran through the year 2020 on "Emancipation for Jubilation" and God indeed worked with us with signs confirming our faith and hope in Him and His Word. We had transfiguration experience, " he said.
While ministering at the programme, the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Oladele said any attempt to revolutionise the Church without the Bible is tantamount to murder, it will not work, but collapse.
He said what Nigeria and the Church is lacking is dynamic, matured and spiritual leadership.
According to him, this generation is crooked and we need leaders to say 'no' to wrong doings and teach clearly God's principle.
