History was made on Thursday May 20, 2021 when the foundation laying ceremony of the Senate Building donated by the Director of Missions, CAC Worldwide, Pastor and Mrs. C.S. Fasuyi to Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) was held at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
CAC News gathered that the foundation laying ceremony which was initially scheduled to hold on Wednesday May 19, 2021 was to commemorate the birthday of Mrs. Josephine Titilayo Fasuyi, but was later shifted to the following day due to unforeseen circumstances.
The foundation laying was anchored by the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele who laid one of the four pillars. Other pillars were laid by the General Superintendent, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi, Pro Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, JABU, Pastor/Prof. A.M.A. Imevbore and Mrs. Fasuyi.
While ministering at the programme, the General Superintendent of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Odejobi said God cast us out from the Garden of Eden because He doesn't want us to touch the tree of life and live forever.
He noted that it is because of living forever beyond this earth Nicodemus came to Jesus, urging everyone to walk and work with God.
The Vice Chancellor of JABU, Prof. Sola Sonaike said God at the appropriate time has chosen to use Pastor and Mrs. Fasuyi for the building of the building, adding that it won't take time before completion.
He said it is a great and memorable day in the history of the school, thanking God for the remarkable achievement.
Pro Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, JABU, Pastor/Prof. Imevbore appreciated God for the life of the donors (Pastor and Mrs. Fasuyi), saying that the impact of the family is enormous.
He thanked God and appreciated the authority of the Church for their presence.
The Director of Missions, CAC Worldwide, Pastor Fasuyi was unavoidably absent and was represented by his wife. Mrs. Fasuyi gave glory to God, the Sustainer of the universe and also appreciated the authority of CAC Worldwide.
"My husband said God laid it in his heart to build the Senate Building for JABU, we prayed about it and we thank God for the foundation laying today," she said.
She thanked the entire JABU community for giving her family the grace to donate the building.
The ceremony also had in attendance the General Secretary, CAC Worldwide, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur, Finance Director, Pastor Johnson F. Omitinde and wives of all the Principal Officers of the Church.
