The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele has urged everyone not to despise small beginnings, saying that every big thing starts small.
Pastor Oladele stated this on Sunday May 2, 2021 at the inaugural service of CAC All Saints' Chapel, Ibadan. CAC All Saints' Chapel is situated in the same compound within the church's General Secretariat in Ibadan. Since its commissioning in year 2010, the All Saints Chapel had served as a functions hall for the Church's events like the Annual Christmas Carols, inductions, concerts and meetings of Church officers among others.
The President said CAC started in a small way in the year 1918 in Ijebu-Ode Ogun State, just like other big denominations we have today in the country.
He said at small beginning, one can be despised or mocked, but the Bible says we should not despise our small beginning.
"It is in the nature of man to always have it big. We are so quick to talk about big men or big names. Meanwhile, Jesus Christ encouraged the little or small ones to come to Him. All big things start small and our Lord Jesus Christ was not born big, but in the manger," says Pastor Oladele.
The Cleric disclosed that they initially planned in December 2015 to start a service at the All Saints' Chapel in January 2016, but could not start due to some reasons.
Over 50 worshippers were in attendance at the service which had in attendance the President and his wife, the Finance Director, Pastor Johnson F. Omitinde and his wife, Chaplain of the Chapel, Pastor Tunde Asokeji and his wife, the Director of Publicity, Pastor Ade Alawode and many others.
You can worship at CAC All Saints' Chapel on Sundays by 8am, Wednesdays by 5:30pm and Fridays by 5:30pm.
