The Chairperson of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Ministers' Wives Fellowship, Mrs. Susanna K. Oladele has said no matter how much a minister's wife has in terms of education, experience, exposure, wealth, connection, beauty, family and heritage, the husband is the head (chief pilot), adding that she must be contented in being the co-pilot in obedience to God who conceived and established the marriage institution.
Mrs. Oladele who is the wife of CAC President, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele stated this on Wednesday May 19, 2021 while delivering the Welcome Address at the 48th Annual Ministers' Wives Conference, Ikeji II held at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
Mrs. Oladele urged them to be available, capable and ready to serve and meet the need of their husbands at all times in their character, conduct and conversation.
She further added that "in doing this, you would have fulfilled your own purpose in furthering the Kingdom of God upon the earth.
"Our getting married to a Pastor is not by accident, it was designed. God gave us to them as help that is meet for them. We are not sex and baby making factories, neither are we maids nor slaves but co-heirs with them to complete them and help them to succeed in life, in their God-given assignment and ministry.
However, even though we are co-heirs with them, the Bible makes it very clear that, 'the man is the head' and that we must submit to our husband in all things (Ephesians 5:22-24)," Mrs. Oladele stated.
