I return all glory to God for a successful retirement, says Pastor Akinosun at Retirement/Send-off Service

The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, on Saturday June 26, 2021 held retirement and Send-off Service for the immediate past President of the Church, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun.

Pastor Akinosun was appointed the General Superintendent of the Church in 2011, he was elevated to the highest office, the Presidency of the Church in April 2012 and finally retired last December, 2020.

During his tenure, he was able to push through a lot of reforms in the administration of the Church and the physical developments both at the Ikeji Arakeji Prayer Camp and at the General Secretariat of the Church in Ibadan.

The glamorous celebration of an icon and living legend was held at CAC All Saints Chapel, CAC General Secretariat, Ibadan.

While ministering at the programme, Pastor Akinosun returned all the glory to God for a successful retirement. 

He noted that joy of salvation makes him full of joy and the retirement service made him return all glory to God.

While addressing the media, Pastor Akinosun appealed to Nigerians to fear God and respect humanity.

The cleric said that lack or diminishing consciousness of Godliness and fear of God were affecting the world negatively.

 

PastorAkinosun blamed insecurity on lack of fear of God in people’s hearts.

He said: “Whosoever fears God will not take any action that would jeopardise the wellbeing of fellow humans and their country.”

 

He also admonished Nigerian leaders, including religious and traditional rulers to be conscious of Heaven. 

The service had in attendance the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele, General Superintendent, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi, General Evangelist, Pastor Hezekiah O. Oladeji, General Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur, Finance Director, Pastor Johnson F. Omitinde and Director of Missions, Pastor Caxton S. Fasuyi.

Also in attendance are Regional Superintendents, DCC and District Superintendents in the Church and many others.
