The Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro has called for spiritual awakeness among the youths of the Church, saying that if revival must start, jamboree must stop.

He said the cry of the youth of the Church should be for revival, saying that we must stop jamboree which would not take us anywhere.

Pastor Gbuyiro stated this on Thursday July 15, 2021 at the maiden edition of a bi-monthly programme organised by CACYOF Worldwide, tagged "Faith of Our Fathers."

According to him: "there are titles we know God for, but the fact that God is not manifesting those titles in our midst, doesn't change Him. It is only that we have not done what we ought to do for Him to prove Himself in our midst. God is great and He would remain great even if He's not showing His greatness in your situation, He will remain great. You can't see Him showing Himself until you play your own part by preparing the ground."

Taking his text from Jude chapter 1 verse 3 which says: "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints," Pastor Gbuyiro said like an ever watchful parent, Jude warns about the dangers of following teachers who play loose with God's word.

"We are inspired by his admonition in the above scripture to champion this noble course of contending earnestly for the faith. It's never a right, but rather a great privilege to have fathers whose lives of faith have won God's commendation and as well as commanded much respect for unending celebration like the great Apostle Ayo Babalola, Oba Isaac Babalola Akinyele, Olubadan, Baba Odubanjo, Baba Babajide, Baba Orekoya, Baba Orogun, Baba Latunde, Baba Olutimehim and many others.

"This is the true picture of our founding fathers in Christ Apostolic Church where we are privileged to be the upshoot of their proven life of faith.By this privilege, we are indebted to God and this generation to replicate their lifestyle of faith as we repose confidence in their God for miracles, blessings and all-round breakthroughs.

"A legitimate child will desire and make it a life pursuit to be like his father by maintaining his reputation and legacy through a worthy life. There can be no better way to keep the good memory of our fathers alive than to keep embracing their life of faith and consequently adopt it as a lifestyle. Nothing will prove our respect and honour for them if we don't live like they did," the Cleric noted.

He added that "whenever it is  expressed in the Bible that a son did not walk in the way of his father, it would mean a discredit to such a child as he proved himself unworthy of the privileges and blessings left behind by his father. Such is the case of the kings in Israel who didn't walk in the way of David, a man after God's own heart."
