It was a celebration galore as The Royal Shepherds of Lagos State Command held their Annual State Competition in a grand style.
The State Competition which was held at CAC Oke Igbala, Owutu District Head Quarters, Ikorodu, Lagos state start on Friday 20th through Saturday 21st of August, 2021.
The event started with an opening ceremony which precedes other event such as Football Match, Table Tennis, Egg Race, Sack Race, Rope Work, Highway Code, First Aid, Bible Quiz, Art Craft, Squad Drill and so on.
All the category of games come with a reward of trophy and plaques, where the overall winners celebrate in high morale; 5th Lagos Company, CAC Itedo Olorun Iyanu, Agege DCC received the Golden Trophy while the Silver ware was received by 18th Lagos Company, CAC Alapere, where 143rd Lagos Company, CAC Agbara Olorun Ni Gbani held on to the Third Position.
We gathered that 2021 State Competition have in attendance Anchors, Junior, Intermediate, Senior, Officers, Captains, Majors and State Executives which are over a thousand in number.
The State Commander, Elder (CSP) Abel F. Ademola (JP) expressed his joy thanking all members of the organization in the state for active participation though we had a low turnout, it’s a success that 2022 will be great.
The Chairman, 2021 State Competition Committee, Pastor M. O. Oyelade, who is also the Deputy State Commander (Finance) celebrate all the committee members for their commitment and sacrifice throughout the planning schedule for the event. He prayed everyone will be rewarded by the grace of God.
Also, in attendance are Pastor F. O. Oluwadele, Host Chaplain and Owutu District Supt. & wife, Pastor S.O. Dahunsi, Oke Anu Dist. Supt., Elder Isaac O. Ijalana, Former National Project Officer, and State Executives among others.
