Christ Apostolic Church, Lafenwa Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Ogun State, on Sunday August 1, 2021 appointed new set of Elders and Deaconesses.
This is the first time the DCC will be appointing new Elders and Deaconesses still they have been upgraded to DCC from Zone and first of its kind under the leadership of the DCC Superintendent, Pastor I.K. Oluwatusin.
This was part of the development going on in the DCC Headquarters in order to have more hands to work with the ministers of God in taking the DCC to the greater heights.
The newly installed elders and deaconesses are 22 in numbers, the Elders are 14 while the Deaconesses are 8.
Pastor V.O Osiyemi of Christ Apostlic Church, Ibara Omida District, Abeokuta who was the preacher of the day encouraged the newly appointed elders and deaconesses to work tirelessly with the authority of the church in other to expand the kingdom of God.
He also informed them in his sermon titled 'Call to Work' that they are promoted to serve more than they have been doing before because it is not an appointment to feel big, but humility in service to God and humanity.
