Christ Apostolic Church, Olushi Zonal headquarters, Obalende, Lagos, has concluded plans to hold her Golden Jubilee (50th) anniversary.
In an exclusive interview with CAC News, the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Olushi Zone, Pastor J.B. Olajide said activities to mark the 50th anniversary commences today Monday 16, to Friday 21, 2021 which is a one week revival programme. The theme of the programme is “God of our Fathers.”
He noted that the programme with two sessions per day holds from 5:30am to 7am (morning session) and 6pm to 8pm (evening session), in exception of Friday 21, 2021 which is a vigil and it starts by 11pm.
According to him, Prophet King David Babayomi is the guest minister for the one week programme.
On the grand finale of the 50 anniversary which is Sunday August 22, 2021, Pastor Olajide said the church would be hosting the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele and will hold N150 million fund raising for the ongoing church cathedral.
On how he feels to be the Zonal Superintendent at a time the church is marking her 50th anniversary, Pastor Olushi stated that; “I feel so good and I thank God for this priviledge. I also want to appreciate the Authority of CAC Worldwide. My promotion and transfer to Olushi zone was least expected. I was promoted from District Superintendent to Zonal Superintendent when I never expected it. I am very happy that God is doing this great thing in my time because I know except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. It has been in the plan of God that it would happen this time and I thank Him for making it my time.”
