The Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro has urged the youths on the need to make themselves empty for Christ to pour His new wine in their lives.
Pastor Gbuyiro stated this on Wednesday August 4, 2021 while delivering the opening message at the ongoing 2021 International Youth Conference, Odo Owa Conference Centre, Odo Owa, Kwara State.
According to him, wine is associated with every good thing of life like joy, sweetness, comfort, happiness, success, celebration, breakthrough, provisions and fulfillment of dreams and aspirations.
The Cleric also said new wine means the infilling of the Holy Spirit which causes things to happen.
He told the youths that a bottle filled with sin, failure or weakness could be filled with glory excellence and glory if it is empty.
Taking the text from the book of Mark chapter 2 verse 22 which says "And no man put new wine into old bottles; else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be married; but new wine must be put into new bottles," the Cleric said "your readiness and willingness to receive new wine: new glory, new strength, new miracles, new encounter with God, new anointing, new jobs and new opportunities is to come with a container that is both new and empty (wineskin)."
"Words from the mouth of Christ are worth noted, examined and given attention because they are eternal truths which have no respect for man, position, situations, human opinions, feelings etc. It expresses godly principles that guides His works among men, our walk with Him. New wine stands for everything that God is willing to pour down for us and which we have come to collect in this conference," he explained.
Pastor Gbuyiro while ending his ministration with the singing of CAC hymn book 502 and altar call said: "your wineskin can be made new to meet the only condition for collection of miracles and blessings by coming to Jesus for cleansing."
