The wife of the President of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Mrs. S.K. Oladele has said that knowing the will of God and doing it is the quality of a God-controlled woman.
Mrs. Oladele stated this on Wednesday August 11, 2021 while delivering the Goodwill Message on the topic "God-controlled Woman" at the 2021 Good Women Conference, Ikeji II.
She told the Good Women that a God-controlled woman is influenced by FAITH to WORK the works of righteousness despite the decadence of the world around them.
Mrs. Oladele said that our walk of faith will most times bring us into situations where we will have to choose whom we shall serve, noting that we must choose to stand for and serve the Lord.
"The fact that we wield the most influence as mothers, sisters, wives and daughters cannot be under-emphasized. Hence, the question of "who controls the woman" must be addressed in the light of the scriptures.I am inspired by the story of Puah and Shiphrah who served as nurses to the Hebrews in Egypt. Exodus 1:15-21. Their refusal to obey Pharaoh's order "to kill all Hebrew boy babies at birth" was one decision that carried with it death penalty but the Bible says that, "feared God" and let the boys live. Proverbs 9:10 says, 'The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. 'In return, God dealt well with them, by providing household for them too (Exodus 1:21)," she explained.
