The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Oladele has told the newly graduated students of CAC Theological Seminary, Lagos Campus that true evangelism doesn't have to be spectacular.

He noted that they don't need to go on radio or television before preaching the gospel, urging them to start from their families and immediate environments.

Pastor Oladele stated this while ministering on the topic "Go and Tell" at the 23rd Convocation Ceremony of CAC Theological Seminary, Lagos Campus, Idimu, Lagos.

The Cleric reiterated that many people want to go international when they are not "inter-house", noting that they have many people in their surroundings they have not preached the gospel to.

Taking his text from the book of Mark chapter 5, Pastor Oladele said the demon-possessed man of Gadarene is a typical example of people in the world without Christ.

He stressed that anyone who doesn't have Christ is demon-possessed, adding that there are a lot of demon-possessed lawyers, doctors, politicians etc. because they don't have Christ.

The Cleric further said that the demon-possessed man was living in the tombs and those who don't have Christ are dead while alive.

"The man has been bound in shackles and chains. So many people are bound with shackles and chains of religiosity. Some people are in shackles and chains of graduation, ordination and promotion. Bound in shackles and chains is the state of those who don't have Christ.

"The man was cutting himself. That is what sinners do to themselves. Sinners injure themselves. The man could not be tamed. We have so many people who could not be tamed because they don't have Jesus. It is when people come to Jesus that they will regain their sanity," Pastor Oladele said.

The President also urged the graduands not to trust anyone who is not a Christian.

While making reference to the topic of the sermon which is "Go and Tell", Pastor Oladele said what to tell sinners is a story of personal experience of salvation.

He added that "you are not called to go and tell controversial stories of the Bible. Go and tell your personal experience of salvation. Preach what you have experienced about Christ. Tell them how you were once a sinner and how God saved you.Tell them of what grace has done for you. Many of us want to preach deliverance when we have not been delivered."

He concluded that they should preach the gospel for the Master's sake and because of His love.

A total number of 382 students graduated. 120 in the Certificate Programme, 118 in the Diploma Programme and 144 in Degree Programme.

Apart from Pastor Oladele, the programme also had in attendance the General Superintendent of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi, General Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur, Finance Director, Pastor Johnson F. Omitinde, Director of Missions, Pastor Caxton S.
