The Youth Officer, Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor S. O. Gbuyiro has charged youths on the need to make new bottles available to receive new wine from God.
Pastor Gbuyiro, who gave this charge on Wednesday, 1st September, 2021 at the ongoing 2021 International Youth Conference, Ikeji 2 Conference Centre, had emphasized on God's release and people's reception of new wine at the conference.
While he expansiated on the Biblical allegory from the book of Mark chapter 2 verse 22 to express the need for Christian youths to surrender themselves and make their lives available for the use of God; Pastor Gbuyiro stressed that by new wine, Jesus was talking about the outpouring of the Spirit and power of God.
According to him, "the words of Jesus at anytime are worth examining and attention. All because His words are eternal truth. Jesus said no man can put new wine into old bottles."
The Youth Officer explained that new wine will burst an old bottle, stating that, "nobody, no human being will labour so much and deliberately waste his harvest. New wine will burst an old bottle. So, no man would attempt putting new wine into old bottle."
"As far as heaven and the scriptures are concerned, new wine will not be released if new bottles are not available. God is simply saying 'Give me new bottle'. If He will not bless us, He will not allow us to gather," he added.
He also explained that sin of any form contaminates and pollutes or make containers dirty, and so, "the good news here tonight is that God, who is ready to pour His blessings into our containers, is also ready to wash our containers. Come to Jesus and let him wash your container for you."
Pastor Gbuyiro concluded that the condition for miracle, empowerment, lifting and fresh anointing is coming to Jesus for cleansing. He said that, "We must come to Jesus to wash us, and our container must be clean."
