The Zonal Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Life and Power Zone, Ikorodu, Pastor Mich 'Tunji Oladapo has urged youths on the need to go back to the faith that was practiced by the founding fathers of faith in order to enjoy God's presence like them.

Pastor Oladapo who stated this while ministering on the topic "Faith of our Fathers" at the 2021 International Youth Conference, Ikeji III conference centre, Akinyele Region, said the faith of our fathers is worth dying for, it is worth leaving one's father and mother for, and it is even worth leaving jobs and friends for.

He noted the need not to forget the ancient land mark (Jeremiah 35: 1-10), stating that the fathers of old kept their focus on the eternal God and the heavenly kingdom rather than an earthly one.

He added that, "such a faith pleases God. He was not ashamed to be called their God and He has established an eternal place for them. Their faith enabled them to endure unspeakable pain and darkness. In spite of the many horrible circumstances, they hung on to a trust in the goodness of God."

Pastor Oladapo noted that the faith of our fathers is the faith that shut up the lion's mouth in the den; the faith that removed the power and potency of the furnace of fire; the faith that fell a giant before a lad; the faith that made some people heroes in a land that never belonged to them; the faith that overcame satanic trials and afflictions, and the faith that brought a gentile king to the knowledge of the Most High God of Israel.
