It was a display of sacred music ministration beyond local and domestic performance, rather, an international symphony at the 81st Choir anniversary thanksgiving service of Christ Apostolic Church, Yaba Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Yaba, Lagos, held on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
The concert was characterized by a three-hour unforgettable and enthralling musical adventure which calmed nerves and blessed souls beyond measures.
With ardent panache, the choir performed songs like, "F'owo kan iseti aso Re" by Jibola Olorire-Oluyelu; "Offertory Hymn- Love Divine, All Love Excelling"; "Jesus Olugbala Iwo ni mo duro ti nigba Gbogbo"; "Festival Anthem - Gratitude" (Music by King Sunny Ade, I.K. Dairo, Arranged by Ayodamope Oluranti) and many others.
While ministering on the topic "Boundless Love of God", the Superintendent of CAC Mushin DCC, Pastor M. A. Ajayi stated that the boundless love of God has enabled every child of God to be an heir of the Father (God) which automatically bestowed the privilege to own everything God has in His care - not only on earth but also when in Heaven.
He further explained from the book of Titus chapter 3 verse 4 that the boundless love of God has brought salvation to all; rebirthed our lives; rescued us from eternal condemnation; redeemed us with His blood and refreshed us through the help of the Holy Spirit.
He added that; "we are saved not because of our righteousness but because of his grace."
"The love of God for us is innumerable. If the boundless love of God for us isn't innumerable, there won't be a reason for us to gather here. His love for us secures us and even distributes various gifts to us both physical and spiritual. Those who do not have Christ do not have peace, they live in crisis," he said.
In his conclusion, Pastor Ajayi urged his audience to offer themselves as a sacrifice to God in order to experience God's boundless love.
The programme had in attendance the DCC Superintendent of CAC Yaba DCC, Pastor S. E. A. Oludare and his wife; the Choirmaster of the church, Elder S. K. O. Annan; Assistant Choir Master, Elder Sesan Taiwo, among many others.
