Christ Apostolic Church, Babalola Region (Osun and Oyo States) on Saturday October 23, 2021 held Babalola Regional Day 2021.
The well attended service which had in attendance DCC Superintendents, Zonal Superintendents, District Superintendents, Pastors, Ministers Wives, Good Women, CACMA, Youth and Choir was held at the regional headquarters of the region, CAC Eleta DCC headquarters, Ibadan.
The Regional Secretary of CAC Babalola Region, Pastor Benjamen Akanmu while reading the "Brief Report on the Creation of CAC Babalola Region" said the Region commenced on January 1, 2018 and was formally inaugurated on Sunday May 20, 2018 and Pastor M.O. Oyepetun was inducted as the pioneer Regional Superintendent.
According to him, Babalola Region comprises a total number of 44 DCCs/Zones in Oyo State and 68 DCCs/Zones in Osun State which brings a total number of 112 DCCs/Zones in the Region.
He noted that the incumbent Regional Superintendent, Pastor J.O. Ogunwuyi who is the second Regional Superintendent was posted into the Region on January 1, 2020 and was inducted by the Church authority on Sunday March 29, 2020.
While ministering at the programme, the Regional Superintendent of Babalola Region, Pastor J.O. Ogunwuyi said if there will be revival in the Region, they need to follow peace and not be judgemental.
He told the congregation that they have no choice but to follow peace because of our focus, which is heaven.
According to him, anyone who follows peace is sowing seed and whatever you sow you will reap, adding that when you sow peace, you will reap peace.
He urged the Pastors to start sowing peace in their different assemblies, Districts, Zones and DCCs.
"We must declare a day of peace as a Region. A day of peace is not a day of apportioning blames or arguments. It is a day of appreciation. It is a day of appreciation. A day of uprightness. A day of benevolence not malevolence. When you pursue peace you will be good at it. When you have Jesus, the Prince of peace, you will know how to follow peace with all men," he stated.
Pastor Ogunwuyi further urged people to put aside anything that will make them not to walk in line of faith, saying that fathers of faith faced many challenges but they never denied the faith.
