Introduction
I inherited one school of thought from my father right from my childhood, " we all replicate what our generation might have done from the past, whether good or bad." Nobody run faster than his/her shadow. You are living under the nemesis of your father and mother. The nemesis of a person or thing is a situation, event or person which causes them to be seriously harmed, especially as a punishment. This write up stand to explore the dangerous lifestyle and nemesis ending of Adoni- besek as a lesson for Nigeria Government.
ADONI- BESEK IN BIBLE HISTORY
Adoni- besek was a Canaanite King referred to in the Hebrew Bible in Judges 1:1-7. Previous to the occupation of Canaan by the Israelites, he had subdued seventy of the Kings of cities around him. The tribes of Judah and Simeon attacked the Canaanites and Perizzites at Bezek and defeated him.
Adoni- Besek, according to Judges, had removed the large toes and thumbs of Kings he subjugated to render them harmless as warriors, presumably so they could no longer wield weapons and run. After Joshua had died, the tribes of Judah and Simeon continued the conquest of Canaan by leading an army against this Canaanite King. Employing the biblical law of "eye for an eye" they apparently did the same to Adoni- Besek before sending him to Jerusalem as a slave.
Adoni- Besek is recorded as saying " seventy Kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off used to pick up scraps under my table. As I have done, so God has repaid me." According to Elliott's commentary for English reader, " cutting off of his thumbs would prevent him from ever again drawing a bow or wielding a sword."
The historical reality is events described in the book of Judges is the subject of ongoing dispute among Nigeria Government and Youths, who vary in their opinions.
NIGERIA GOVERNMENT WITH DECEIT AND CALLOUS LIFESTYLE
I remember vividly, the promise made by our present President (Mohammad Buhari) and Bola Ahmed Tinubu...in 2014 during campaign...
Buhari said
" I will build 1 refinery each year 4 the next 4 years. I will make1 dollar to 1 naira, give unemployed youths each 5k a month, I defeat Boko Haram in 1 year. I will create 3 million jobs each year."...
Bola Ahmed Tinubu said
" Nigerians, the only way to have steady light and fuel is to remove Goodluck Jonathan. And I promise you in 6 months Nigeria will be swimming in crude oil and fuel. Buhari will pay you all #5,000 monthly for been jobless, our Youth will be gainfully employed with our 3,000,000 jobs a year."
From the above quotations, question like this should come to genius individual mindset...
The president in question, what are his achievement during Military Regime, that quantify him to talk like this....if not the help and genuine assistant of Idiagbon?...
Do you still need to be giving people money since you wanted to create jobs for jobless Youths?...
What are your contribution on Dollar during Military Regime?...
If you promised to put an end to Boko Haran within a year, who was the founder?
I remember, Gbadamosi Babagida speak sometimes ago that our President was the commander of Boko Haran, and treating statement follow, and the old man keep quite.
Smile....if it was not like, how would Government packed all Military personnel from the street when Boko Haran was about to return Dapchi Girls? And retained the girl that vehemently refused to renounce her faith as a Christian. Meanwhile, part of Chibok are still in their custody uptill now.... What a pity?
All these girls were giving birth to by some parents. Most of them might have been demoralize, wounded, and died, because of the issue of their children. What a agony?....
In addition to the above, I technically exegesis the statement of our President during campaign, have never see where he promise to give freedom/ palliative to any member Boko Haran. Maybe, if he said so, people may not vote for him... Why giving freedom to killer/ destroyer and admitted into Military Force, when our law said, whoever killed shall be kill... This is pure marginalization and tribalism...
Yesterday, I talked about former Senate President ( Bukola Saraki)... Without the help of this man as an individual - both financially, physically and other midst, Buhari wouldn't have become the President of our nation.... Indeed, he was warned by the Lord through the Current General Evangelist of CAC World Wide ( Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji) to wait for his time (2023) - said the Prophet of God - I talked as an insider - spiritual son to the Prophet....
I think he's seriously dancing to the lyrics of his over ambitious now.... What a pity... This moment would have be his right time as a Youth.....
NEMESIS OF KILLING/DESTRUCTION OF NIGERIA GLORIOUS, VIBRATE, AND ENERGETIC YOUTHS WILL SURELY COME
I want to strongly believe that Aisha Buhari may be right, when she talked years ago after the sickness of President, when he returned to the country after his medical treatment, that-
"The man you call Buhari is not my husband, ask the Northern Leaders."
I want to stand as a corollary to that view, because-
How would a President of a nation decided not to talk his people, despite the warning on ENDSARS, the numerous killing, in Lekki, Lagos, Kwara and other state....but if it is cow in any state, he would have talk...
Citizens covered themselves with Nigeria flag and police still killed them together with it.... What a dangerous situation?....
Flag of any nation is a symbol of her arrival on a matter, just like staff/ rod of a king.... It is a sign of protection, peace and security....
Like Nigeria flag - white and green....
White portrait an inherently positive colour, is associated with purity, virginity, innocence, light, goodness, heaven, safety, brilliance, illumination, understanding, cleanliness, faith, beginnings, sterility, spirituality, possibility, humility, sincerity, protection, softness and perfection.....
Green is a cool colour that symbolizes nature and natural world. Green is often thought to represent tranquility, good luck, health and jealousy...
With these points on flag, it clearly show that Nigeria Police are naive, and primitive in thinking. What a pity? How would you kill Youth with flag? This is a pure segregation.
Nemesis is coming..
The way you killed the Youths of this nation...premature death is also coming to your home....
Adoni- Besek, lived to regret his action, the same is also coming your way....except you repent.... Your eyes, thumbs and toe will surely be caught off....because a lot of families are in a serious agony now, because of the death of their love one....
Conclusion
In a concise form, God demand right living, run away from waywardness, living a life that will encourage others, and fight to sustain, protect and mobilize the less privilege....
