It was a day of destiny fulfilment on Sunday November 21, 2021 at the inauguration of Christ Apostolic Church, His Fame House District, Idimu DCC, Lagos, and induction of Pastor I.D.O. Akinpelu as the pioneer District Superintendent.
The inauguration and induction service was conducted by the Superintendent of Idimu DCC, Pastor S.O.A. Fadipe who represented the Church Authority.
While ministering at the programme on the topic "Truth To Know About The House Of God" and taking the text from Mark 11:15-17, the Youth Officer of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro said many have seen the Church which is the house of God as a place of advertisement, showcasing businesses and comedy and (they make jest on our Sacred ground), no wonder God has left many Churches today because they drive Him away themselves.
He noted that the beauty of the house of God is the presence of God, not the chairs, gate, instruments which most people focus on now.
He added: "focus more on the presence of God because God will never bless anything that is not his product. This should be our concern not the material things that attract or distract us in the Church of God today.
"The Church is not a company, it is a gate of the heart, a place we communicate to God and please him but today we fail because we dishonor God, we focus on men instead of God in today's Churches and place them higher than God."
The Cleric said before anyone ventures into prayer, one must be taught, adding that "Jesus took his time to teach his disciples, helping them to know what is right from wrong. But today we have failed in the aspect of teaching the Word in the Church and that's why we do things contrary to God's will even in the Church of God because we have turned our back at the principle of Jesus."
According to him, things we should promote in the house of God are things that express divine purpose for which the house of God was established, things that will encourage intimate relationship with God and things that will make God to remain in the beauty of his house.
The Youth Officer also appreciated every single person who contributed to the growth of CAC His Fame House District.
