The District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Pentecostal District, Pastor I. T. Ariyo last Friday held the final outing service for his late mother, Deaconess Elizabeth Aduke Ariyo.
The service was held at CAC Oke-Isegun, Ido Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) headquarters, Ido-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Late Deaconess Ariyo slept in the Lord on the 30th of July, 2020 and was laid to rest in the same year.
Ministering at the programme, the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Ido DCC, Pastor 'Lola Gbaruba noted that God is not happy about anyone who doesn't have Jesus Christ; urging everyone in the congregation to stop living their lives anyhow because when death comes, there will be no option.
He charged that; "the God you don't know while on earth can't accommodate you in heaven. Are you preparing for heaven, are you preparing for your death? Death is inevitable. Mama is already with God, where are you going?"
He urged everyone to be a man after God's heart just like David.
According to him, there are two ends - bad and good ends, noting that the end of a wicked man is the end of his joy, end of his laughter, happiness.
Pastor Gbaruba added that; "when someone who has Jesus dies, the death will bring an end to sadness on earth and it will be a beginning of joy for him in heaven."
The Cleric also appreciated Pastor Ariyo for taking care of the mother and for being there for her at all time.
The outing service ended with a grand reception at the church premises.
The programme had in attendance the Youth Officer of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro; Zonal Superintendent of CAC Life and Power Zone, Pastor Mich 'Tunji Oladapo; Akinyele Regional Youth Coordinator, Pastor Olu E. Olorunpomi and many others.
