Christ Apostolic Church, Victoryland Ilupeju District headquarters, Calvary Zone, Lagos on Sunday November 22, 2021 held her 14th annual harvest thanksgiving service.
It was indeed a day of overwhelming joy as members and friends of the church gathered to appreciate God for His continuous faithfulness and mercy.
While ministering at the programme, the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Calvary Zone, Pastor I. B Ajanaku said if there is anything to celebrate in the world, it is joy, irrespective of the things we acquire on earth.
He noted that there is no joy in the whole world today except those that are in Christ.
"As we are celebrating the harvest of joy today let us have it in mind that we will be celebrating the harvest of human race one day. We shall surely harvest whatever we have planted. Christ is coming to harvest the harvesters one day," he said
Defining harvest as a moment of celebration and a festive occasion, Pastor Ajanaku said the first fruit of the harvest must be taken to the house of God for the ministers and the remnant taken to the poor.
District Superintendent of CAC Victoryland Ilupeju District, Pastor Joshua Atolagbe after thanking God for the success of the programe appreciated the harvest committee for the job well done despite the short time they had.
Pastor Atolagbe who said this is the first harvest anniversary he had with the church also appreciated the Zonal Superintendent of Calvary Zone, Pastor Ajanaku for his presence.
