The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr. Daniel K. Olukoya has urged on the need for genuine repentance from all known sins.
Dr. Olukoya stated this on Thursday November 4, 2021 at a programme tagged "A Day with Dr. Olukoya" organised by CAC Vineyard of Mercy, DCC headquarters, Lagos, which is part of activities to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the church.
While charging everyone to repent from all sins, the Cleric said all sinners are offending God by their sins
Dr. Olukoya further urged people to surrender their lives to Jesus and become friends of God.
Commenting on the theme of the programme which is "Divine Intervention", the Cleric said divine intervention is the sudden movement of God into one's situation.
He added that: "divine intervention is the unexpected visitation of messengers of heaven into your situation. It is the manifestation of signs and wonders you don't expect. It is the miracles that happens when you have given up. It is the move of God that is beyond human comprehension."
On how to provoke divine intervention, Dr. Olukoya said: "surrender yourself to Jesus. You need to become a friend of God. Repent from every known sin. All sinners are actually fighting God. You are offending God when you sin.
Pray for divine intervention. The kind of prayer that brings God into action is the kind of prayer described by Psalm chapter 56 verse 9. Heaven doesn't understand gentle man prayer, what the Heaven recognizes is undiluted prayers. Become a praise addict. Praise God in whatever situation you find yourself."
