The Regional Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Odubanjo Region, Pastor D. I. O. Edoh has inaugurated a 28 member executive to run the affairs of the CAC Youth Fellowship, Ondo State Chapter for the next 4 years with Pastor Olatunde Julius Oluwafemi as the State Coordinator.
In his words of exhortation at the inauguration, the Regional Superintendent called for more cooperation among the members, noting that Odubanjo Region had not been lagging behind in her activities among her peers in the mission.
Pastor Edoh enjoined the CAC youths in Ondo State to continue to show commitment to programmes of the church so that Odubanjo Region would maintain its foremost position.
The ceremony started with the honouring of the outgoing executive led by Pastor Tunde Daramola for a period of 8 years.
Speaking on behalf of the outgoing executive, Pastor Daramola reeled out the various achievements of the administration which he attributed to the grace of God and the cooperation of the executive members.
He also appreciated the wisdom of the leadership of the mission for enlarging the Regions which he said would make for better administration.
Pastor Daramola called on the incoming executive to maintain the massive attendance of Ondo State youths at national conferences.
Presenting the new executive for inauguration the Regional Youth Fellowship Supervisor, Pastor E. A. Agboola admonished them that their call is to work for Christ and not to sit on ivory chair.
Addressing the gathering, the first State Coordinator, Pastor E. T. O. Alowolodu called on the newly inaugurated executive to be united. He noted that it was only in unity that they can succeed in the work that had been committed to them.
In his acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated State Coordinator, Pastor Olatunde Julius in his remark returned all glory and adoration to God Almighty, appreciate the solid foundation laid by the previous coordinators and promised to build on the foundation.
He highlighted the vision of the new executive to include ensuring unity among members, work for spiritual and economic growth of members, monitoring the teenagers through operation catch them young as well as ensuring more synergy between the youths in the state and the church leaders at all levels.
He then called for prayers from members for the success of the new executive.
Award of recognition was presented to the two pioneer coordinators, Pastors E. T. Alowolodu and Tunde Daramola for their efforts in laying a solid foundation for the take off of the State Chapter.The ceremony was rapped up by prayers for the newly inaugurated executives.
