It was a memorable day in Omu-Aran Kwara State on Sunday 28th November, 2021 as Christ Apostolic Church, Orisun-Iye District, Omu-Aran Zone, was inaugurated and Pastor & Mrs Joseph Olakitan Adekanye inducted as the pioneer District Superintendent.
The inauguration/induction Service was conducted by the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Omu-Aran Zone, Pastor J. A Olusegun while the District Superintendent Oke-Adeye District, Pastor Olujobi and the District Superintendent Oke-Itura District, Pastor Olorunleye were also present.
Other ministers who graced the inauguration/induction service are: Pastor Olalude, the Zonal secretary Omu-Aran zone, Pastor Segun Folorunsho, Pastor Adeshida, Pastor Lawal, Pastor Oyeniyi, Pastor Adebayo, Pastor Olowookere, Pastor Atolagbe, Pastor Olowofela, Pastor Durotoye, Pastor Ayanda, Prophet Akinwale Ojo, Pastor Tope Jolayemi.
Expressions of joy and excitement was all over the faces of the elders, the good women, the Youth and the entire congregation.
Pastor J. O. Olusegun, the preacher of the day, titled his message "Keep that which is committed to your trust" and taking his text from 1 Timothy 6:17-21; Hebrew 13, Ephesians 4:3, said "the serpent was successful in deceiving Eve because Adam failed to keep that which was entrusted into his hands, therefore guard yourself with the word of God and you will overcome all the works of the devil."
The Omu-Aran Zonal Superintendent told Pastor Adekanye that before he can truly win, he needs to listen to God attentively, he must be prayerful, love all the members and allow Holy Spirit to direct him all the time.
He also urged the newly inducted District Superintendent to lead by example and always preach against what is not biblical.
He further advised the Church to be supportive, listen to the new District Superintendent good directives and he also encouraged them to continue the good works they have been doing.
He charged all the assemblies under the newly inaugurated District to work and walk in love, unity and fear of God as these keys are important for the progress of the District.
The programme had in attendance all Omu-Aran District Superintendents, ministers of God and lovers of Christ Apostolic Church.
