The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele, has enjoined Nigerians to be righteous in order to save the country from its present security and economic crises.
The cleric made this known over the weekend during the celebration of a church founded by his late father, Pa Gabriel Adeoye Oladele, in his hometown in Alagbagba, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Speaking to reporters, Pastor Oladele noted that according to Bible, righteousness exalt a country and not just prayers.
"Prayers without righteousness is nothing. When the Angels of destruction was destroying Sodom and Gomorrah, they came to house of Abraham looking for righteous people and not just prayerful people,’ he said.
‘It is good to pray but we must go back to righteousness so that it shall be with our country,’ Pastor Oladele advised.
