A renowned gospel singer popularly known as "Ayewa", Pastor J. A. Adelakun has said that anyone who misses the kingdom of God has missed the great thing.
Pastor Adelakun stated this on Friday December 10, 2021, while ministering at the Almighty God Crusade organised by CAC Testimony District headquarters, Ebutte-Meta, Lagos.
The Cleric who stated this before performing one of his evergreen songs "Amona Tete Mabo", emphasized the need for every believer in Christ to be heavenly conscious and not to forget that we are sorjourners on earth.
He stated that he was a sinner but he received the mercy of God, being a smoker and drinker before accepting Christ through Baba Abiye.
Pastor Adelakun also said God has blessed Nigeria with many Pastors and he followed many of them, but describes it as pitiful that there are some of them who don't preach about the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He added that; "we are on a very short journey on earth. We shouldn't allow the things of the world to take away the beautiful kingdom of God from us. The world is vanity. We are only sorjourners on earth. Irrespective of the years we spend on earth, we will depart one day."
On the evergreen song, "Amona Tete Mabo", Pastor Adelakun said; "one of the leaders of the country called me from Abuja and said he always thought that when I composed Amona Tete Mabo, I was taken from a particular Mountain straight to compose it. I told him I wasn't the one who composed the song. God only used me as a vessel to compose it."
The crowd was blessed beyond measure by the ministration of Pastor Adelakun as he performed many of his songs which have been life-transforming for many decades.
