It was an atmosphere of excitement in Christ Apostolic Church, Mount of Victory District Headquarters, Surulere, Lagos as the church holds an annual programme tagged "Love Feast Experience."
The well packaged programme held on Friday 17th December, 2021 was organized by the Youth Fellowship of the church with the theme “Reunion.”
The programme had different sessions such as drama, exchange of gifts, couples' show/dance, comedy amongst others. It was a gathering for renewal of marriage wine as couples had thrilling experience of love in His presence.
During his admonition, youth adviser Deacon ‘Sola Olatunji said practicing love shouldn't only come up on that day alone, but it should be daily experience.
According to him, love is not a mere speaking word, but an action word which Christ showed us by submitting His life for our salvation.
"The church should always have an affection to practice agape love, many families today have lost their first touch of love. Many singles have lost focus on their expectation for marital journey only because no one is ready to show genuine love," he claimed.
He concluded by charging the congregation to embrace Jesus, the perfect example of how to love (James 1: 26, 27).
While giving the vote of thanks, the Secretary of the Youth Fellowship, Sister Dolapo Ladipo blessed the name of the Lord for a fulfilled programme.
She also appreciated the ministers and entire members of the church for their undiluted support to make the programme a reality.
The congregation was thrilled in songs and lovely music by the invited guest artists; ‘Tosin Majemu Anu, Talented Stars and Jojolo Jesu.
The programme had in attendance the District Superintendent, Mount of Victory District, Pastor E. O. Arasanyin and his wife, the curate pastor and wife, Alumni of the fellowship and many others.
