Christ Apostolic Church, Atan-Ota zonal headquarters, Ogun State on Sunday December 12, 2021 held her annual harvest anniversary thanksgiving service and also appointed new Deacons and Deaconesses.
It was indeed a day of celebrating God's faithfulness as people gathered to appreciate God at the well attended service. The Deacons and Deaconesses were appointed according to the directive of the church authority which is by laying of hands.
While Ministering on the theme "God of Harvest", the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Atan-Ota zone, Pastor N.A Popoola said no one can harvest what he or she has not sow and therefore commended the entire church for their effort to make the anniversary a reality. (Luke 6:38).
He further asked the congregation that 'what kind of fruit do they germinate?' He concluded that there's one great harvest which the planter is God and Christ is coming to harvest.
Commenting on harvest, Pastor Popoola said harvest can never cease from coming.
"Harvest is God's design for celebration. It is a festive moment, but we shouldn't limit ourselves to just physical celebration. As we celebrate harvest, we must take note that the greatest harvest will come when Christ will come to harvest His followers," he noted.
He then charged the congregation to endeavour to be part of that great harvest.
Also in attendance are the District Superintendents under the Zone and the newly Inducted Superintendent Pastor Stephen Oluwalogbon Folorunsho, Pastors and other Ministers present.
Pastor Stephen Oluwalogbon Folorunsho while speaking at the harvest admonish the congregation from the book of Numbers 7:5 to give to recieved from God and everyone will be rewarded accordingly.
