The Youth Fellowship of Christ Apostolic Church Transfiguration District Coordinating Council on Friday held a praise and worship night.
It was the last for the year 2021 organized by the youth Fellowship. The programme which was themed 'Praise Ye The Lord' was extracted from Psalm 147 verse 1.
In his Address the DCC Youth Coordinator, Mr. Abraham Adebayo Shodiya told the participants that their presence at the praise and worship night has been predetermined by God.
He added that when people praise God, He makes them walk on dry land which symbolizes atmosphere where lives will blossom. Shodiya stressed that participants shouldn't allow their hearts to be troubled and let God step in.
The word minister, Pastor I. O Onibaba while preaching on the topic,'Praise Ye The Lord' noted that it is important to keep praising God for his goodness and greatness.
He further said God deserves praise from his people for protection, preservation amongst others.
The praise and worship night was full of youth from all assembling under the DCC.
A new set of executive was also inducted to lead the affairs of youth fellowship in transfiguration DCC. Mr. Shodiya reemerged as the Coordinator of the youth fellowship.
An advisory committee was also inducted to guide the activities of the youth fellowship and give counsel from time to time. The Advisory Committee was headed by Pastor David Oladapo.
Apala Group, CAC Santos District, CAC Obadore District, CAC Sango District, Kakaaki Jesu, God's Heritage Ministry all ministered at the programme.
