It was a celebration of God's faithfulness and overwhelming love at the 63rd birthday celebration of Mrs. Mariam Folashade Odejobi, the wife of General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi.
Mrs. Odejobi, who was born on the 2nd of December 1958 in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, was celebrated at the official residence of the church's General Superintendent at CAC General Secretariat, Ibadan, Oyo State, today Thursday December 2, 2021.
With a smiling face, full of appreciation to God at the brief birthday celebration, Mrs. Odejobi thanked God for making her one of the celebrants before the great celebration on the 25th of December, 2021.
Aside singing a song to appreciate God, the celebrant appreciated God over her life, her husband and the family, stating that; "I don't know what to say than to appreciate God."
Mrs. Odejobi who noted that she has been seeing Jesus since when she was young in her dream noted that a particular Mama Ajasin introduced her to Christ, appreciating God for His faithfulness so far.
The General Superintendent, Pastor Odejobi said, to have married Mrs. Odejobi is full of adventures, stating that they were divinely predestined to marry each other.
"It would have been great loss to me if I married another person. I would have married another person's wife. God has always being faithful to us. Someone said I'm not good at management matter. To manage my wife and children serve as an encouragement to me. She is a kind of woman who always brings appreciation to the Almighty God. I always feel without her I am nothing because of her responsibility over the children and mostly myself. She is very spiritual, a good administrator and a good wife indeed," the Cleric said.
Pastor Odejobi told her wife that; "If I happen to go before you, I will tell God you're coming."
While ministering at the programme, the General Secretary of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur said celebrating a day like this is not for frivolities.
Citing Psalm 90 verse 1-3, Pastor Mapur said we should apply our hearts to thanksgiving.
He also said we need to apply our hearts to the service of God, adding that we are created to be His workmanship and we need to get occupied for Him.
The Cleric added that; "we need to apply our heart to the salvation of our souls. We need to examine if we are saved or born again. We need to have assurance of salvation."
The event had in attendance, the President of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele and his wife; wife of CAC General Evangelist, Mrs. Oladeji; the General Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur and his wife; the Finance Director, Pastor Johnson F. Omitinde and his wife; the newly appointed Regional Superintendent of Essien Region, Pastor Olu Eyebiokin; the Director of Youth Affairs, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro; the Personal Assistant to the General Superintendent, Pastor Oluwadare Agede and many others.
