It was a day of divine encounter through aggressive prayers, sacred praises and undiluted word of God on Wednesday December 22, 2021 at the Day One of the "3 Days End of Year Crusade" organised by Christ Apostolic Church, Chapel of Grace, Ojuirin-Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The programme which has two sessions per day, morning and evening, had a large turnout as the people of God gathered for an unforgettable encounter. The theme of the programme is "Mighty Acts of His Name" and it ends tomorrow Friday December 24, 2021.
In the morning session of the programme, the Superintendent of CAC Oke-Imole Alase District, Pastor Isaiah Fajuwagbe led the congregation to a powerful session of Bible-based prayers.
Pastor Fajuwagbe who also ministered during the evening session enlightened the people on the potency of the name of Jesus Christ.
The Director of Youth Affairs, CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro while giving words of exhortation said no one can see the acts of God beyond one's ability to use the name of Jesus.
Laying emphasis on the potency of the name of Jesus, Pastor Gbuyiro said, when we call the name of Jesus, we connect to the person of Jesus and one will begin to connect to what the person of Jesus can do.
According to him, there is a limit to what the names of people can do, but Christ's name is unlimited.
The Cleric also said Christ's disciples knew that to get the attention of God they must be committed to prayers and that is why they observed hours of prayer, adding that, "at times it is not money that we need because it will not solve all our problems."
He urged the people to depend and call on the name of Jesus at all times through aggressive prayers.
