Christ Apostolic Church, Ketu Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Ikosi-Ketu, Lagos, on Sunday, January 9, 2022 held send-forth service for her immediate past Superintendent, Pastor Samuel A. Adedayo.
Pastor Adedayo, who spent four years as the Superintendent of Ketu DCC was confirmed as the substantial Regional Superintendent of CAC Akinyele Region having been in acting capacity for over a year.
The well attended service had in attendance the former and retired Superintendent of CAC Akinyele Region, Pastor Moses O. Yusuff; Itire DCC Superintendent, Pastor Gideon O. Oladokun; renowned gospel singer who is also the Superintendent of Mercyland Zone, Pastor J.A. Adelakun and many others.
While ministering at the programme on the topic "Be steadfast in faith and abound in the work of God", Pastor Adedayo said it is through lifestyle that we will know anyone who is truly born again; saying that the person would have had great transformation through faith in Christ, but it is no longer the case these days.
He noted that many said they are Christians but they have no characteristics of Jesus Christ.
According to him, when one has accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, such person shouldn't be carried away by religiousity; adding that being carried away by religiousity shows one doesn't have the knowledge of the word of God.
"Be steadfast in faith and abound in the Lord irrespective of the situation. The journey of faith is not easy. The experience of one man is different from another. If we depend on God, we will overcome," he noted.
Pastor Adedayo urged the congregation to serve God with one heart because He is a rewarder of everyone.
He said, "we should be steadfast with Him. Whatever He has for us, no power of darkness can stop it."
