Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Igbala Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Akure on January 22nd, 2022 has laid the foundation of her new residential house.
The foundation of the residential house was laid by the Regional Superintendent of CAC Odubanjo Region, Pastor D. I. O. Edoh.
Delivering the sermon titled “Except the Lord build the house" Pastor Edoh encouraged the congregation to rest upon the Lord for all provisions of life and upon whom there is accomplishment.
He cited the three stones each to be used at each of the four corners of the foundation as representing the name of GOD the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
His short energized sermon further put the congregation on their toes for quick completion of the project for which he will be happy to come to dedicate before he retires from his duty post as Regional Superintendent.
After the exhortation, Pastor Solomon Abayomi Olaiya ,the CAC Oke Igbala DCC Superintendent, led the Odubanjo Regional Superintendent, Pastor D. I.O. Edoh; CAC Oke Igbala DCC Secretary, Pastor M. K. Oyebode, all District Superintendent present at the occasion and Pastor J. A. Falaye (D/S Ile Aseyori and Chairman CAC Oke Igbala DCC Building committee) to the site for the function.
At the site, Pastor D. I. O. Edoh laid the foundation at each of the four corners of the building.
The site consultant, Architect Ayo Igbasan and his assistant, Architect Oluwanifemi Popoola revealed that on completion, the building comprises of four (4) bedroom and two bedroom semi detachable flats with offices.
Pastor Olaiya thereafter, thanked Pastor Edoh, all District superintendent present, Elders and Deaconesses and all members of the congregation.
He further requested the congregation to take to the counsels of Pastor Edoh as regards to the quick completion of the project as the closing prayer was said by Pastor Edoh.
