Prophet Ebenezer Akinyele |
The District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, West Texas District, Prophet Ebenezer Akinyele has said no one can prosper through fasting and prayer, saying if you're not a giver, you can't prosper.
He stated that God told him that small boys commence this year with fasting and prayer, but big boys commence the year with sacrifice (giving).
Prophet Akinyele stated this on Friday January 14, 2022 while ministering at a monthly programme tagged "the Siege is over programme" organised by CAC Iwolerikan, Ajah/Badore Assembly, Lagos.
The Cleric who charged the congregation on giving to God said the devil is not the enemy of those who don't give, but stinginess.
"Do not be stingy to God this year. If He asked anything from you, release it to Him, He will pay you back. Don't be afraid. God never created you for suffering. Just surrender your life to Christ," he said.
He also said that;"if you don't hate poverty, you can never be rich. Stop fighting insult, just focus on your vision. Not every harrasment requires your attention. Be focused this year. Stand firm in God. The best thing in life is to serve God, when you serve Him, you will not suffer in life. Forget about your need."
Prophet Akinyele who is the planter of CAC Iwolerikan assemblies across the globe stated that no one can live life alone irrespective of one's level of intelligence, destiny helper is needed.
He concluded that poverty makes one looks like a devil, noting that nobody celebrates poverty.
"Be a prayer warrior and a giver this year. Don't limit yourself. There is no limitation anywhere, except the one you placed on yourself. Stop lobbying people, start lobbying God. When something is available and accessible, it doesn't mean you can have it if you don't obey," the Cleric finally concluded.
It was an outpouring of divine presence when Prophet Akinyele took the congregation on a journey of aggressive prayers and prophetic declarations.
The congregation was also blessed through the music ministration by Evang. (Mrs.) Florence Oyerinde.
