The immediate past President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun has described his late wife, Mrs. Victoria Adeyoola Akinosun has a true wife and caring friend.
Pastor Akinosun who stated this in his tribute to his late lovely wife said during their 50 years being together, his wife was a great mother, wife, sister, adviser,prayer warrior, motivator and a true companion.
In his exact words;"My dear Adeyoola, it is still unbelievable that you are no longer with us. You left shortly after our retirement in the ministry. A time when you were supposed to rest from your hard labour.
Until this hour, the incidence of your departure which occurred on 22 November, 2021 is still very shocking to everyone of us. During our 50 years together, you have been a great mother, wife, sister, adviser, prayer warrior, motivator and a true companion
"You were a caring friend who stood by me through thick and thin moments. You were a true wife and mother who never left any duty unattended.You proved yourself to be a great manager, builder and gate keeper of the home. You were a wonderful mother who took great care of the children. Like the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 33, you are priceless and exceptional.
"You are irreplaceable and the vacuum you left cannot be filled by anyone. Like Katherina Von Bora "the die Lutherin" who supported the divine call of the great reformer, Martin Luther, you stood by me like a true soldier of Christ. You were a godly instructor, disciplinarian and counsellor who guided so many in the way of the Lord Jesus Christ. You were a courageous and brave soldier who was never afraid to speak the truth and confront the ungodly behaviour. You were a devoted woman of God who delighted in praying, singing gospel hymns and reading the holy word of God, even in hard times.You trained your children in the way of God and wake them early in the morning to seek the face of the Most High.
"You were the prophetess of the family who foresaw events before they happen. Our joy is that you have entered into the eternal bliss where there is no pain, sorrow and anxiety of any sort You were so glad and grateful to God after so many thanksgiving events such as our 50 wedding anniversary and your 75" birthday ceremony. Little did we know you were saying goodbye.
"We thank God for a life well spent. You have fought a good fight of faith, you have finished your work and kept the faith. O death where is your sting? O grave where is your victory? But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord, Jesus Christ. Sleep on beloved, until the resurrection day, when we shall meet to part no more."
