Former Superintendent of CAC Anifowose DCC, late Pastor Omowaye's body committed to mother earth

The remains of former and retired Superintendent of then Christ Apostolic Church, Anifowose Zone, now Anifowose Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Lagos, Late Pastor Israel Oluwaseun Omowaye has been committed to mother earth.

Late Pastor Omowaye who was the first Zonal Superintendent of Anifowose Zone was committed to mother earth on Friday February 18, 2022 at his residence, CAC Oke-Itunu, Isuti District Headquarters, Igando, Lagos.

Before he was buried, Christian Wake was organised for him on Thursday February 17, 2022 at same venue.

Ministering at the Christian Wake, the Superintendent of CAC Anifowose DCC, Lagos, Pastor E.S. Olatunji said nobody owns Late Pastor Omowaye but God owns him and has taken him.

Pastor Olatunji added that death is what humans fear most but it's so surprising how we fail to prepare for it, but one day death would visit everyone.

"Where will you meet yourself after death has caught up with you? The devil has planted into everyone what would not make them remember death. Be careful children of God and always know that one day you would give account of everything you've done on earth," he said.

Similarly, at the interment service, the Superintendent of CAC Efon DCC, Pastor Dayo Oluwamakin, the DCC Superintendent Efon, Ekiti State said God's love to man made Him determine our days on earth, adding that "no matter who or what you are, your days on earth are limited and determined by God.

"No matter your position, fame, wealth or how fetish you can be, you can't add or renew your days on earth. We will all depart at the appointed time which God has already written down for us."

According to him, God has invested so much treasures in us because we are His image, He doesn't want us to be wasted like the devil whom He also created by Himself.

After the interment, reception was held at Osan Blocks, Isuti Road, Igando, Lagos.

Late Pastor Omowaye was survived by his wife, children and grand children. His first born is the Superintendent of CAC Ephphatha District, Pastor Joshua B. Omowaye, second born is the District Superintendent of CAC Isuti District, Pastor P.A. Omowaye, and many others.
