Christ Apostolic Church, Isoji District, Olushi Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) Lagos, on Friday March 18, 2022 hosted the first Pentecostal Night.
The quarterly event which rallies worshippers across the district level and beyond, witnessed a surge in revival experience, elevating praise and worship encounters, and an impactful delivery of the word of God.
Themed ‘God of all Possibilities’, this time around, the Pentecostal Night is a special programme that is targeted at a deep spiritual reawakening of believers, the salvation of souls and deliverance of the afflicted.
The district’s Central Choir led the programme with an intense session of praise and worship followed by hymn renditions and a prayer session that combined thanksgiving to God for His marvellous acts in the lives of the people, mercy for sins and empowerment with the Holy Ghost.
The sermon was delivered by Pastor S.K Babalola. He talked basically on the theme, referring to Luke chapter 1 verse 37.
He admonished the worshippers to put their trust in God as there is nothing impossible with Him.
According to him, “You don’t have to keep running helter-skelters when trouble strikes. That can lead to further deterioration of the situation. All you need do is to reach out to God in faith through prayer and let Him direct you in whatever ways He would want you to take to find a solution.”
The highlight of the quarterly programme was a special prophetic prayer session led by Prophetess Mustapha. The power of God fell mighty during that session to stimulate all kinds of deliverances.
Speaking about the programme, Pastor Mathew Olaiya, the District Superintendent, host and Pastor of CAC Holy Ghost Revival Centre, said, “We blessed the Lord for His mighty showing during the programme. This is a night you don’t take for granted. I believe the next Pentecostal Night which comes up in June 2022 will be even greater.”
He thanked and prayed for all the ministers, church workers and members in the district who were present for the programme.
CAC Isoji District operates directly under the newly promoted Olushi DCC. The district comprises church assemblies located around the thickly populated in the Ikorodu axis.
