It was a day of celebrating the immesurable goodness of the Lord Jehovah at the 34th anniversary thanksgiving service of Christ Apostolic Church, Transfiguration Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Ajuwon, Ogun State.
The anniversary thanksgiving service which held on Sunday, March 28, 2022 is the grand finale of Transfiguration Festival 2022.
In his goodwill message, the General Superintendent of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi said; "as a Prophet of God, who is the eyes of God to His world, a Pastor who is His hands to tend and care for His world and by my status in His beloved Christ Apostolic Church, the evils the Devil is set on making humanity to commit and what Satan is set on turning the world to greatly bothers me. It was in the course of my concern for His world and His Church, that the Lord our God introduced Himself as Jehovah and gave me assurance that He is ready to make Himself known to as many as will come to Him."
Laying emphasis on the theme of the anniversary, "The Lord Jehovah", Pastor Odejobi said the promise of God is to give those under the oppression of satan and sin 'liberation', those under burden of responsibility 'provision', those who are fighting the battles of life 'victory' and those who are sick and desiring recovery 'healing'.
The Cleric noted that; "the world is in crisis, the Church is in crisis, homes are in crisis, economy is in crisis, industry is in crisis, government is in crisis, we are all sailing on troubled seas with threat of capsizing and passengers having their lives in their mouth. Fuel and insecurity crises in Nigeria. Ukraine is in trouble of Russia. Nigeria and Africa are in trouble of the intolerant religious bandits who are satan missionaries in religious robes. In what crisis are you? Or your mind is not at peace because of what have happened or is happening around you and you are already becoming hypertensive? Our God has promised to intervene to cause peace where there is presently crisis and grant peace unto us so that in crisis we can be in peace. He does not want us to be troubled and become hypertensive. He is Jehovah-Shalom Judges 6 verse 24."
While ministering on the theme of the programme, the Regional Superintendent of CAC Akilling Region, Pastor E. A. Olusoko the Lord Jehovah is the creator of the universe.
He noted that the Lord Jehovah has provided for mankind a revelation of Himself through Jesus Christ, saying that the Bible is not providing the existence of God is only asserting His existence.
According to him, by observing the universe one can see the existence of God and it is wise to accept God has the creator of the universe.
Pastor Olusoko said we must have faith in God and bridge every bridge with faith because no one can please God without faith.
The Cleric said as a child of God you are called for salvation, come and learn at Christ's feet and to be sent out to witness for Christ.
The glamorous celebration of God's goodness had in attendance the General Secretary of the church, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur and his wife; wife of CAC Finance Director; Missions Director, Pastor Caxton S. Fasuyi and his wife; Regional Superintendent of CAC Babalola Region, Pastor J.O. Ogunwuyi; Director of Publicity, Pastor Ade Alawode; Director of Youth Affairs, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro, Music Director, Pastor Tope Dada and many others.
